A Piece of 'Blighty'

A small spindle from 'Blighty', the house that inspired the poem of the same name, rescued this past April from the shoulder of Foster Road in Foster.
See by the tracks, where a sodden shingled roof
Droops on a worn façade, a wilting visor...
