Welcome to this cyberplace, set up as a space for news and reviews of A Gentleman of Pleasure and occasional jottings about John Glassco. Lucretia Rawlings, Montreal, 1868

Glassco's maternal grandmother, Lecretia Rawlings (née Carter), two years after her arrival in Montreal. A clergyman's daughter, she was raised in Mount Druid House, a most unusual looking rectory outside the village of Ballintoy, Northern Ireland.

The fifth of thirty posts focussing on images not found in A Gentleman of Pleasure.
The entire series can be found here.
